Leather Care instructions
All our leather items are hand-tanned with love. Therefore, any small imperfections in the leather should not be seen as flaws, but rather beautiful reminders of what makes your piece unique.
When wearing your item, be aware of heavily embellished clothing, chunky jewellery and sharp surfaces which can scratch the leather. Be mindful that as a natural product, the leather can stretch should it be forced, it will also soften overtime with wear.
With unlined leather, be mindful of what is worn underneath as the under-side of leather pills with friction. The pilling can be controlled with a lint roller or soft brush. If you wish to wear something underneath, ensure that it is of similar colour.
Store the item in a cool and dry environment, in its original packaging. Use any moisture absorbing packets to avoid dampness as this can affect the products longevity. Avoid direct sunlight as it can cause the leather to fade in colour.
To clean the item, avoid using any chemicals and spot clean using a soft white art eraser to gently rub off imperfections. Wipe clean with a soft dry microfibre cloth. If you wish to use specialist leather cleaner, spot test it on a hidden area such as inside a zipper or pocket to ensure it doesn’t damage the leather.
